WHAT NEXT?

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive cancers. Based on the location of the tumour, surgery differs.

Tumor in the region of head and neck of the pancreas needs Whipple’s surgery and those in the body and tail will need distal pancreatectomy.

Gall bladder cancers require Radical Cholecystectomy which involves removal of gall bladder, liver beds and regional lymph nodes.

Tumors of the biliary tract are treated based on their location.
